Butterfly beeswax ATC

Hi All,
I have joined paper traders art group, on this site you can join in with different swaps.
I have just made 4 beeswax butterfly ATC's.

  These will be sent out and I will receive 4 in return.
If you fancy joining in, join the group.

Here are my ATC's

I have never used this technique before and my butterfly's have curled slightly, I have varnished the whole atc to make it more hardy (will be in the post).
If anyone has any advise they can offer I would be glad of it!
I am happy with the outcome though, and they look better in real life than the photo(not sure what has happened with photo quality).
The varnish seems to be distorting the image.

I am going to try this technique again on a small canvas, will keep you posted of the outcome!

    Butterflies and happiness, lovely combination.

    I've never tried beeswax, but it is one of those things I keep wondering about.

    I've been looking at the papertraders art group a few times since OWOH, but don't quite have the nerve to join yet.
