CriteriaArtists making performance action: ]performancespace[ is an artist led non-profit organisation that seeks to provide studio and event space specifically for performance art. We are now offering studio space, a 1 year residency and call for artists for our 1st event in collaboration with ArtEvict.
DetailsSTUDIO space is available from January 2011. The RESIDENCY offers the space to make performance action in a supportive community for free. This provides the opportunity to present performance, work with international visiting artists and participate or lead tutorials and workshops. Wells Art Contemporary - The 45 Park Lane Art Prize
CriteriaExperienced and emerging artists are invited to submit works. The WELLS ART CONTEMPORARY OPEN provides artists with the opportunity to display work in an open submission to respected artists, galleries & curators and to exhibit in the City of Wells. 12 October - 3rd November 2012 £15 per entry. Prizes: FIRST PRIZE SOLO EXHIBITION LONDON. The 45 Park Lane Art Prize includes an opening night reception/private view and a five day exhibition in the library and foyer, with an overnight stay at 45 Park Lane. FURTHER PRIZES of £1000, £500 and £250. but the prestige is worth even more.

CriteriaDEBUT Contemporary is an innovative concept for all aspiring and ambitious artists, showcasing the best of British creative talent across all art disciplines including painting, sculpture, photography, video and performance art. DEBUT Contemporary provides an affordable exhibition and mentoring platform for all talented emerging artists to showcase and sell their artworks (from as little as £50 per week) where they will be introduced to collectors, art professionals and businesses and pocket a massive 80% net profit from all sales facilitated by the gallery. Artists will be prepared with a business savvy mind whilst they maintain their artistic freedom and creative licence, enabling more creatives to stay in business.
DetailsThe first group of selected DEBUT Artists will launch the concept at the Salon Contemporary gallery space in West London in February 2011. The selection process for these places is incredibly rigorous and the panel consists of some of the leading art professionals and patrons. Debut is open to all submissions, however, the first successful applicants will exhibit in time for the launch in February 2011, you will be referred to a waiting list if you are successful.
