Happy New Year

I wish all my followers a happy New Year, I am looking forward to this New Year as I am going to concentrate on promoting my Textile work, and hand made beads.

one frosty morning!!!!!

This is my latest finished textile mixed media art piece, titled 'one frosty morning' i have really enjoyed making this one ! I hand dyed all the linen and some lace in coffee, I now have a large batch of dying to do as I am going to do a much larger picture.

Incoming Tide

Where is time going!!!!!

The weeks are flying by, my baby is nearly one, and it only seems like he was born last week, LOL.

Have been snatching moments here and there though to get some art work completed.  I thought I'd share my latest Aceo, with you

Its titled 'Deep depths' and for sale in my Etsy shop.

Also I have finished my Textile mixed media piece which I have loved making, as I have been experimenting with Tyvek.  I have felted miniature pebbles which are needle felted onto some felt I made.

I have named this piece 'Incoming Tide'

This is going for sale in my local Gallery, so If you want to purchase it contact me and I will sell via paypal.

I am currently working on another textile piece.

Red fabric poppy brooches

Newly made fabric poppy brooches, I have made a large batch of these !  some are heading off to a local shop Three Bee's of Bude.

The rest are going onto Etsy and on my website

I have also made a large batch of Poppy cards for the shop!

These have been made in red and blue.

I have lots of paper beads drying on the rack, ready to make some more jewellery.  I will post these when finished.

Great bracelet for a stocking filler

Evening everyone, well I have been busy bead making and getting stock together for sale at Christmas, I have been making vintage crinkle ribbon bracelets.  The ribbon was purchased at the Westpoint stitching exhibition in Exeter.

The beads are made from some retro paper !

The beads are protected with varnish and glazed for a glossy look.

If you would like a bracelet made in a certain colour, I would be happy to do custom orders.

I also have a new pendant range, drying on the table, I will try and finish these tomorrow and post if dry!LOL

Handmade Tyvek textile beads

I wanted to share with you these newly made beads, these have been made by a painting and heating technique.  I have put these beads along with other similar beads in various colours in my etsy shop.

New range of handmade art beads

Eve everyone !

I thought I'd share some new paper art beads that I am making, these are in antique gold in time for Christmas crafting.

They are made with a high quality metallic antique gold paper and have been varnished many times for a hard shell.

So sorry I haven't posted for a while but I have had lots of visitors staying over the summer holidays.  I have still been busy crafting though as the local shops have been running out of my cards.

Things looking up ! the weathers improving (hopefully)

Hi All.

Hope everyone is well, well I have been busy making flowers for my Etsy shop and my local shops.  Have a larger range of colours now.

These are mostly wrist corsages, I am also working on a large felted heart for the paper traders stitching swap, my partner is Cathy in the US. Will post my creation when it's finished.

Well have you heard, the rain is supposed to stop!!!!!!

we will have to wait and see.

Hello All, well we finally had some sunshine today, It was lovely to not have dreary grey skies !

Lets hope it's the beginning of summer.
